Libraries Unlimited/Greenwood Publishing Group is the publisher of Crinkles and School Library Media Activities Monthly. Deborah Levitov, the managing editor of both magazines, has twenty-five years experience in education, including experience in school media centers, and is active in AASL.
Crinkles is a magazine designed for young students, aged seven to twelve. Each issue has fifty pages and contains numerous activities for young students. The magazine's name comes from the crinkles of the human brain. The goal of the magazine is to help create more crinkles in the brains of young people.
Articles are researched and written by leaders in the education arena to develop children's skills in critical thinking, independent research and study habits because, learning makes Crinkles in your brain.
